What a study involves here

Visits center on structured questionnaires — some you fill in yourself, some a certified rater asks and scores. The same rater usually stays with you across the study so the scores stay comparable.

Who protocols usually look for

Adults with a diagnosis of Major Depressive Disorder. Some protocols enroll people whose current treatment is not working well enough; others enroll people not currently on treatment.

Worth knowing

Never stop a treatment to qualify. Any change is decided with the study doctor, and honest answers on the scales matter more than good ones.

We conduct studies in this area, but protocols open and close through the year — so there may or may not be one recruiting today. Answering our questions is not enrollment and carries no obligation. Whether a study fits is decided after informed consent and screening, never from a web page. Study-related visits and assessments are provided at no cost to participants.
