CNS and Psychiatric & PSYCHIATRY

Schizophrenia Studies in Stockbridge, Georgia (Metro Atlanta)

Schizophrenia is a condition affecting thinking, perception and motivation. It is long-term and treatable, and studies look at different aspects — symptoms, side effects, or day-to-day function.

What a study involves here

Assessments use structured scales such as the PANSS, administered by raters certified on them. Some protocols ask for a family member or carer to attend certain visits.

Who protocols usually look for

Adults with a diagnosis of Schizophrenia who are clinically stable enough to give informed consent and attend visits.

Worth knowing

Consent is taken seriously and revisited: agreeing once does not commit you, and you can leave at any point without affecting your regular care.

We conduct studies in this area, but protocols open and close through the year — so there may or may not be one recruiting today. Answering our questions is not enrollment and carries no obligation. Whether a study fits is decided after informed consent and screening, never from a web page. Study-related visits and assessments are provided at no cost to participants.
