What a study involves here

Protocols typically combine an overnight recording with next-day nap testing, plus questionnaires about how the sleepiness affects your day.

Who protocols usually look for

Adults with a diagnosis of Idiopathic Hypersomnia. It is often confused with Narcolepsy, and part of screening is separating the two carefully.

Worth knowing

This is a small field. Sites with in-house overnight capability and certified staff are few, which is why these protocols travel.

We conduct studies in this area, but protocols open and close through the year — so there may or may not be one recruiting today. Answering our questions is not enrollment and carries no obligation. Whether a study fits is decided after informed consent and screening, never from a web page. Study-related visits and assessments are provided at no cost to participants.
