What a study involves here

Narcolepsy protocols normally involve an overnight recording for Sleep Disorders assessment followed the next day by a series of short scheduled nap opportunities. Both happen at our site, and you should plan not to drive yourself home afterward.

Who protocols usually look for

Adults with a diagnosis of Narcolepsy, with or without Cataplexy. Some protocols ask you to pause a current treatment beforehand — never something to do on your own, always with the study doctor.

Worth knowing

Overnight and next-day testing in the same building is unusual outside academic centers, and it is why Narcolepsy protocols come to sites like this one.

We conduct studies in this area, but protocols open and close through the year — so there may or may not be one recruiting today. Answering our questions is not enrollment and carries no obligation. Whether a study fits is decided after informed consent and screening, never from a web page. Study-related visits and assessments are provided at no cost to participants.
