Insomnia Studies in Stockbridge, Georgia (Metro Atlanta)
Insomnia is trouble falling asleep, staying asleep, or waking far too early — often enough, and for long enough, that the next day suffers.
What a study involves here
Insomnia protocols usually start with a diary used in Sleep Disorders studies kept for a couple of weeks, then screening visits, and in some studies a night recorded in our own Sleep Disorders center. Visits are mostly daytime and short.
Who protocols usually look for
Adults whose Sleep has been a problem for months rather than weeks, and who have often already tried something for it.
Worth knowing
Because the Sleep Disorders center is ours, an overnight recording happens here rather than as a referral to a lab across town.
We conduct studies in this area, but protocols open and close through the year — so there may or may not be one recruiting today. Answering our questions is not enrollment and carries no obligation. Whether a study fits is decided after informed consent and screening, never from a web page. Study-related visits and assessments are provided at no cost to participants.
